Great introduction to Amish life...
The three of us thoroughly enjoyed "The Amish Experience." The movie was an excellent introduction to the struggles young people today must have as they decide whether or not to commit themselves to the Amish way of life.
The cinema was unexpected.
I thought I was going to see a normal movie, but it was truly a sensory experience.
A First-Rate Tour about Amish Lifestyle & Customs. The tour was recommended to us by friends who attended last year. As they promised us, it was not a touristy-trap, but rather a sensitive, informed way of educating us about the lifestyle and customs of the Amish. The tour guides were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and engaging.
Very informative and interesting for all ages. We were able to complete the entire supersaver package. The bus tour was comfortable, most interesting and informative, with stops at key sites such as the farm with live animals, the handicrafts outlets, and the wine store. Our tour guide was good. We enjoyed the theater presentation and the tour of the house was especially interesting. Exposing my grandchildren, ages 11 and 16 to the Amish experience was one of the nicest parts of this activity.
The tour exceeded our expectations in that we were able to experience a real working farm firsthand, not a “simulated” re-creation. We were made to feel right at home at every place we visited. Fantastic Tours
