WE RECOMMEND: Adjacent to the Amish Country Homestead is the landmark, original family style restaurant ---  Plain & Fancy Farm. As part of each student touring day, the Amish Experience is pleased to offer two family-style meal menus: (1) the world-famous full family-style menu of golden fried chicken, baked Lancaster County ham, chicken pot pie, real mashed potatoes, brown buttered bow-tie noodles, market vegetables, corn, assorted relishes, bakery fresh shoo-fly pie, apple dumplings, ice cream, hot and cold beverages, and (2) a special modified student value menu adapted for younger palates, available Monday-Friday, 11:30 am - 4:30 pm. 2008 rates begin at $14.45 and vary by grade and menu. Each menu is served at your table, family-style, all-you-can-eat, and includes tax and gratuity. At least half of the group must consist of students to qualify for student pricing. Box lunches also available.
